We're very excited to release ‘Tzitzimitl’ by João Ruas, a stunning 55 x 80cm giclée with screenprinted elements depicting one of the Tzitzimimeh, fearsome Aztec deities worshipped by midwives and parturient women, portrayed as skeletal female figures believed to be both protectors of the feminine and harbingers of chaos to men during Sun eclipses and other astral events. 

‘Tzitzimitl’ will be available for 48 hours starting Wednesday 04 October exclusively from our shop and the final run will be determined by the number of prints sold during this period. The edition will be signed, hand-numbered and embossed by the artist and will not be reprinted. 

We'll be offering the print unframed or in a recycled aluminium matte black frame with acrylic glazing.
